Britney Spears Working On New Album

(EZ-Tracks) - Britney Spears is working on a new album according to a report on RollingStone.com, which quoted Jim Beanz, a vocal producer who worked on several tracks on Spears’ latest album, Blackout. “Everyone has personal stuff, but a true professional doesn’t bring it into the studio,” said Beanz. “Britney is amazing.” According to Rolling Stone, since the release of Blackout last year, Spears has reunited with Larry Rudolph, her longtime manager who advised her when she was at the height of our popularity (and who Spears promptly fired after emerging from rehab in 2007).

Spears was recently in London starring in (and co-directing) the video for “Radar,” which will be the next single from Blackout, in which she searches the city for a boy she met in a club. The pop diva is currently in Louisiana, tending to her younger sister, Jamie Lynn, who recently gave birth.
Spears’ father is still in control of her legal affairs, but the matter is to be reviewed by a Los Angeles court on July 31.

Britney Spears' father granted to sell her L.A. home

BEIJING, June 18 (Xinhuanet) -- A Los Angeles court commissioner has agreed to allow Britney Spears' father to sell her home in the Los Angeles-area community, according to media reports Wednesday. Court Commissioner Reva Goetz Tuesday gave permission to her father Jamie Spears, who remains control of her finances and personal affairs, to sell the singer's Studio City home, a court spokeswoman said.

It was not immediately clear where she intends to move, but a source close to Spears said, "Having more privacy and wide open spaces for her to raise her boys has been a goal for some time."
Jamie became conservator of his 26-year-old's affairs in February after several highly publicized mishaps.

In March, a court granted Jamie the power to "sell or dispose of" an undisclosed number of her seven cars. Jamie remains in legal control of his daughter's affairs until a July 31 hearing.
The pop star and her father weren't in court during the ruling. A source tells People magazine that Spears is set to head back to Louisiana this week to be by her teenage sister Jamie Lynn Spears's side as the fomer "Zoey 101" star welcomes her first child with fiancé Casey Aldridge.

Britney Spears is coming to London!

It would indeed seem that Britney Spears is on a roll. On a roll of film, if indeed they still used such things. Because coming hot on the heels of her "hot and blonde" appearance in the Pussycat Dolls video is the news that Britney is heading our way - yes, our way - next week, filming the video for her upcoming single Radar. And she'll be directing as well as starring in it.

"The theme is: her and her girlfriends are going to be looking all around London trying to find a boy who she met in a club. Every time they think they have him, it's someone else," Britney's manager Larry Rudolph told the New York Post. "She will be behind the camera as much as possible; she wants to make sure it's exactly right."

Will it be as good as Fergie's video to London Bridge? Will Britney wear a saucy Beefeater's outfit? And do you suppose they need extras? Watch this space!

Britney Spears' BBQ ruined

Singer Britney Spears arrives with an unidentified woman at Barrigona beach on the Pacific coast in Samara. Britney Spears' plans for a family barbecue with her two sons were ruined because of bad weather this weekend. Britney Spears had to cancel a family party with her sons this weekend.

The troubled singer planned to host a pool party during a visit with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, but bad weather spoiled the feast. A source said: "She started setting up around 1pm for what was intended to be an all-out bash."

Britney's dad Jamie, who is a trained cook, had planned a barbecue by the pool for the entire Spears family, but the arrangements had to be cancelled when it began to rain and temperatures dropped. Shortly after 5pm, Britney's sons returned home to their father Kevin Federline and Jamie also returned to his house as their day drew to a close.

The singer was stripped of visitation rights to two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James in January after she was ruled to be a danger to herself and the children. In February, the ruling was amended to allow occasional supervised visits with her sons, and a further hearing earlier this month saw her permitted to spend more time with them. Another hearing is due to take place in July.
